Patty is a C.H.E.K. (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) certified practitioner (for more on C.H.E.K. education, click here) and has a deep understanding and knowledge of the functional anatomy and dealing with clients who are rehabilitating from a musculoskeletal injury. Like I said, I refer my clients straight to her because I trust they will be in the best hands possible!
"Sessions with (Patty) are always uniquely personal. She also has special training in lower back issues and was able to help me through a rough, painful patch by using various distinctive stretches and postural adjustments. As an added bonus, she massaged my back and neck with specially chosen pure essential oils!"- Jody N
(Patty's) knowledge of what exercises to do to help me at a crucial time was and still is invaluable. I was diagnosed with a weakening of my pelvic floor which could only be helped long term through surgery which included a hysteretomy. When I asked about exercises the doctor assured me that in this kind of problem there are no exercises, that yes kiegels could help, but we were dealing with involuntary muscles that could not be exercised. Upon discussing this with Patty she assured me that we could strengthen the muscles and by eating right for my type, which involved non-inflamatory foods, this problem could be dealt with. Her assurance, support, knowledge, and encouragement were key in helping me turn this around. I now do exercises that support not just my pelvic floor, but bladder and large intestine. Upon my last visit to the doctor I was told surgery was not necessary and to keep doing whatever I was doing!"-Susan Ford.
